BIOREBA AG was the first company worldwide to produce and commercialize ELISA reagents for plant virus diagnostics in 1980. It is an independent company that was started in close collaboration with Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil Research Station ACW Nyon, Switzerland. Since then, BIOREBA has established cooperation with numerous other research institutes, universities and private companies in Switzerland and many other countries. Since its foundation over nearly three decades ago, the company has steadily grown and built a reputation for high quality. Today, the research community and diagnostic laboratories around the world relay on our products.

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with high quality products and services to address their special diagnostic questions. Customers benefit from our expert knowledge and long-standing experience in developing and introducing complete ELISA systems as well as AgriStrip, the rapid one-step assay. BIOREBA develops and produces tests and reagents for the detection of plant pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi and phytoplasma) and also provides special equipment and disposables for the preparation of plant samples and liquid handling. We offer development and production of customer-specific products, such as ready-to-use tests, on a contract basis. Furthermore, we can help setting up your test laboratory or can provide workshops for special needs.

BIOREBA has its own laboratories for production of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, complete kits, reagent sets, AgriStrip, and well-equipped facilities for R & D activities. Our tests are developed either entirely in our laboratories or in collaboration with other institutes in many countries. Our test service department analyzes samples for customers, using various diagnostic techniques (serological and molecular) in order to ensure reliable results.

BIOREBA products are available worldwide. The sales and marketing department and an extensive distributor-network, including our own office in Argentina (BIOREBA SRL Latin América, Mar del Plata), ensure a quick response to customer inquires and prompt product delivery. Our well-trained staff is committed maintaining high quality standards.

BIOREBA is proud to announce that the company has been awarded the internationally recognized certificate of Quality Management System (ISO 9001) for research and development, production and worldwide distribution of tests, test systems and equipment, as well as test service for customers. The Swiss certifying SQS is partner of the international IQNet. This certificate shall give us the incentive to continue serving our customers with best quality.
